Betty Faye Slinker, 84, of Big Meadow Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 13, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was a daughter of the late Clarence Gudgell Wells and Suda Grace Hatton Wells. Her greatest love was her family. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints. She loved to sew, quilt, cook, sing, read, work all types of puzzles and especially have visits from grandchildren and great grandchildren and working with the Primary children at church.
She is survived by her husband Stanley Lovene Slinker; three children: Donna (Rick) Walton and Kevin (Christina) Slinker and Kent Slinker; six grandchildren: Nicole (Austin) Rodenberg, Kellie (Tyler) Mann, Kaden Slinker, Katie Slinker, Lilian Ungricht and Olivia Ungricht; six great-grandchildren: Blakely Mann, Mollie Mann, Willa Mann, Henry Mann, Liam Rodenberg, and Mila Rodenberg; one brother: Roger (Lucille) Wells; one sister: Carolyn Wells; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one brother: William “Bill” Wells; two daughters-in-law: Jenn Slinker and Kathy Slinker; one great granddaughter: Evelynn Grace Rodenberg.
Funeral will be 2:00 pm Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 206 Mitchell Edwards Rd, Sulphur Well, Kentucky . Visitation will be after 12:00 noon until time for service at 2:00 pm. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Burial will take place at the Slinker farm in Green County Kentucky.
