Cecil G. Frazier, 82, Glasgow, died Tuesday at his residence. A native of Monroe County, he was a son of the late Linzie G. and Nola J. Copass Frazier. He was a retired employee of the Barren County Highway Department, a veteran of WW II and a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Beatrice; two sons, Melvin Thomas Frazier of Columbus, IN, and James Ray Frazier of Glasgow; one daughter, Sharon Faye Johnson of Glasgow; one foster daughter, Threase “Teresa” Bragg of Glasgow; four brothers, Oscar Frazier of Columbus, IN, Ernest Frazier of Taylorsville, IN, Earl “Buddy” Frazier and Reggie Frazier both of Glasgow; one sister, Letha White of Glasgow; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandsons, Melvin T. Frazier, Jr. and Tony Lynn Frazier; three brothers, Paul, Sam and William “Rowdy” Frazier; three sisters, Mary “Mag” Shelton, Bessie “Ann” Jobe, and Ruby Perry.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
