Cecil Houchen. of Glasgow, KY. Passed away Friday, August 6, 1999, at his residence, age 82. Former resident of Austin, IN. Son of: Joseph W and Ella Rigsby Houchen. Worked many years as chief electrician for American Can Company. Member of and deacon of First Christian Church in Austin, IN; member of Scott Lodge F&AM #120; charter member of Jennings County Conservation Club.

Survivors - Wife: Louise Farris Houchen. Daughter: Patty Justice and husband Oren of Ashland, KY. Son: Terry Houchen and wife Runell of Glasgow. Brother: Joseph Houchen, Jr, Louisville, KY. Grandchildren: Sherri Kelly, Don Houchen, Brian Johnson, Karen Dickerson, Wes Johnson, Elaine Corbitt and Jana Colter, 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral was August 9, 1999 11:00 am at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
