Linda Charlene Hole, 71, Glasgow, passed away peacefully Friday, October 18, 2024 at Shanti Niketan Hospice Home while surrounded by her family. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie “Dick” Thomas and Rose Lee Evans Thomas.
Charlene has lived in Jupiter, Florida as well as the Dominican Republic before returning to her home of Glasgow. Many will remember her employment at Ford’s Furniture in Glasgow before her retirement. She was also a member of Siloam Baptist Church of which she was very proud.
Survivors include one son Danny Johnson, Jr. (Sue London) of Glasgow; one granddaughter, Kelsey Madison Johnson of New York City; Danny’s Father, Danny Johnson, Sr. of Glasgow; one sister, Cindy Rahn of Glasgow; Cindy’s daughter, Whitney Cianci and her husband Frankie, along with their children: Izaiah, Frankie, and Gianna “Rose” Cianci.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
