Claudean Crowe, 76, Cranbrook Drive, Glasgow, died Tuesday, August 27, 2002, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Monroe County, she was a daughter of the late Huey and Bessie Turner Jones, a retired employee of Mallory Capacitor in Glasgow and a member of the Faith United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Lyons and her husband, Phil, of Cave City, and Kaye Shipley and her husband, Harold David, of Glasgow; five grandchildren, Randy Matthews and his wife, Brandi, Rene’ Matthews, Ryan Matthews, Brad Shipley and Brandon Shipley; one great-grandson, Tres Matthews; two sisters, Lucy Clarkson and Ruby Ford, both of Tompkinsville; a brother-in-law, Carlos Crowe and his wife, Ruth, of Tompkinsville; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arlos Crowe and five sisters, Dorothy Harlan, Louree Turner, Mildred Deweese, Ruth McPherson and Nell Turner.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2002, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with entombment in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
