Cleon “Pete” Martin, Jr., 75, Glasgow, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at NHC Healthcare Center. A native of Barren County, he was the son of the late William Cleon Martin and Angie Beatrice Mitchell Martin. He was a farmer and a member of the Pleasant Union Baptist Church where he had also served as Sunday School Superintendent.
Survivors include one brother, Bruce Martin (Sheila); three sisters: Teresa Martin-Curd, Tillie Slaton, and Mary Ann Martin; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Billy Joe Martin, Mark Martin, and Robert “Butch” Martin.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Pleasant Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
