Dallies E. Wood, 55, Glasgow, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. A native of Barren County, he was the son of the late Dallies L. Wood and Regina M. Davidson Wood. He was a former manager of a furniture rental store.
Survivors include his wife Dorothy J. Wood; three daughters: Alison Stone (Joshua Woodard), Alyssa Wood (Joseph Justice), and Dallia Wood; six grandchildren: Jaylin Craine, Jayla Craine, Jaliyah Ray, Lyndie Justice (due in July), Nolan Furlong, and Maddux Furlong; two brothers: Aldwin “A” Wood (Patricia) and Ricky Wood; three sisters: Sally Hayes, Gwendolyn Wood, and Tina Wood; several nieces and nephews including a special niece Tamara Wood.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Louis L. Wood and three sisters-in-law, Helen Wood, Brenda Wood and Faye Wood.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home for expenses or to Dorothy via her CashAp $madea1968.
