Darrell Thomas Smith, Sr. 89, of Smiths Grove, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Signature Health Care in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was a son of the late James and Flora Smith.
He is survived by three children: Vickie Wright (Joey Wilborn), Darrell Thomas Smith, Jr. (Rachel) and June Jones; two brothers Dwight Smith and Junior Smith (Florence); ten grandchildren: Bruce Adams, Jennifer Carry (Chris), Staci Montgomery (Matt), T. J. Webb (Brooks), Will Wright (Bethany Mutter), Michelle Riley (Doug), Joshua Smith (Ashley), Blake Haribson (Kelly) and Hunter Jones; several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter: Debbie Adams; one granddaughter: Mickie Norris; one brother: John Smith; four sisters: Moline Round, Dorothy Foster, Wanda Smith and Bonnie Hall.
Funeral will be 2:00 pm sct, Sunday, December 22, 2024 at the Bevil Brothers Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with burial in the Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford, Kentucky Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home and after 11:00 am Sunday at the Bevil Brothers Funeral Home until time for services.
