Donitta Tyler, 59, of Glasgow, KY went home to be with the Lord on January 19, 2024. She was born August 17, 1964 in Glasgow, KY to the late William “Red” Chapman and Edna Clark Chapman.

Donitta was the owner of Devil Woman Motorcycle Repair and former owner of Triple T Recovery of Glasgow.

She loved hosting and helping host benefits for St. Judes Children Hospital. Through these benefits she met and became friends with a lot of Country music singers. Her favorite thing to do was to help provide Christmas presents for local children. She was very active in local toy drives and finding families that needed a little help. Her wish is that more people would help others.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years John E. Tyler; two sons Josh Payne (Jenn) and Jordan “Bugaloo” Tyler, both of Glasgow. Two daughters: Jennifer Hendrickson (Russell) of Sebring, FL, and Cheryl Crain (Chris) of Stoneville, NC. Three grandsons: Preston and Bentley Payne, Kaydon “Clyde” Crain; one granddaughter: Bryanna “Miss Priss” Wilborn. Two brothers Charles “Buck” Chapman (Penny), and Roy Chapman, both of Glasgow. Two sisters Mamie Flowers (Billy) (Whom she thought as a brother) of Franklin, KY, and Kathy Carmicle of Glasgow, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by three sons: Jacob, Randy, and Quinton. One Daughter, Sammie. Three grandsons: Zackary, Dylan, and Jaxon Payne. One granddaughter: Cheyanne Payne. One brother James Obie Chapman: one sister Brenda Smith; two best friends Lynn VanMeter and Sallie Vincent.

Funeral service will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00am Monday at the Funeral Home.
