Elva Ester Morris

Elva E. Morris, 88, Peters Creek Road, Glasgow died Saturday at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Hart County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ruey Frances Warren Cannon, a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Larry W. Morris of Kingwood, Texas; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Justin, Chris and Tommy Jo; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, George Morris.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 12 noon Monday at the funeral home.
