Era McDonald
Era McDonald age 95 of the Merry Oaks community died today (Tuesday) at the Glasgow Health and Rehabilitation Center in Glasgow. She was the daughter of the late Marshall and Narcisis Wood Houchens. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Zion Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Isaac McDonald, A son William Leroy McDonald and a Grandchild: Sherla Steen.
She is survived by a daughter: Louise Hester of Merry Oaks. A Daughter In Law: Nettie Campbell of Louisville. Three Granddaughters: Arlene Skaggs of Brownsville, Elaine Roller and Jan Peyton both of Louisville. Six Great Grandchildren: Heather Roller, April Daughtery, Angie Skaggs, Jason Peyton, Chad Roller and Nicholas Skaggs. Three Great Great Grandchildren: Gabe Roller, J. D. Daughtery and Caleb Daughtery. Several Nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday.
