Flora Pierce Neal

Flora Cathryn Pierce Neal, 88, Park Avenue, Glasgow, died Wednesday, January 16, at the NHC Health Care Center. A native of Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Lucy Hubbard Pierce, a homemaker and a member of the Big Meadow Baptist Church.
Survivors include four children, Clayton Neal and his wife, Betty Carol of Edmonton, Juanita Smith and her husband, Jackie of Glasgow, Thomas Neal and his wife, Stella of Louisville, and Lois Edwards of Horse Cave; one sister, Cleo Goode of Indiana; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie George Neal, a son, Orval Ray Neal, four brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Big Meadow Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
