Hardin “Ky” Burford, 80, died Monday at home in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born in Barren County, KY, he was a quality control inspector with Magnavox Corporation for 38 years and retired in 1988. He was past commandore and member of the American Legion Post #499, a member of the V.F.W. # 857 and Eagles #3512.
Survivors include his son, Daniel L. Burford of Fort Wayne; one brother, Alwin Burford of Bowling Green, KY; two sisters, Seva Burford and Anna Burford, both of Murfeesboro, TN; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Burial, with military honors provided by Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV, will be in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Thursday and after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Greater Fort Wayne Unit, 2420 N.
