Helen Ray
Helen Ray, 83, formerly of Glasgow, died Monday, April 7, 2003, in Bessemer, Alabama. Mrs. Ray was a former Administrative Assistant to Jesse Stuart, a former member of the First Christian Church in Glasgow , where she was an Administrative Assistant for many years and a member of the Loyal Daughters Sunday School Class. She was currently a member of the Riverchase United Methodist Church in Hoover, Al.
Survivors include her husband, Teddy S. Ray; three sons, John Mitchell Ray and wife, Karen, of Alabama; Billy J. Ray and wife, Mary, of Glasgow; Roger L. Ray of Missouri; one daughter, Suzan Carol Pfeiffer and husband, John, of South Carolina; ten grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 12 noon Wednesday at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2003, at the Riverchase United Methodist Church in Hoover, Al.
