Ida Mae Allen, 81, Glasgow, died Thursday at her residence. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Henry Jewell Smiley and Virginia McPherson Smiley Corbitt. She was a homemaker. She was a very active member of the Builders Club and a Senior Missionary of the First Baptist Church of Glasgow.

Survivors include her husband, Owen; one daughter, Kathy Payne (Elmer) of Bowling Green; one son, Glen Victor of Louisville; two sisters, Birtie Smiley and Henrietta Duncan both of Toledo, Ohio; one brother, Lawrence Smiley of Glasgow; fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, McKinley Victor.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church with burial in the Oddfellow Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Monday at the Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home.
