James Robert Hurt, 70, of Hiseville died Monday, November 11, 2002 at his residence. He was the son of Stella Christie Hurt and the late Tarry Hurt. He was an antique dealer and a seller of fresh produce on Columbia Avenue.
Along with his mother he is survived by his wife Dean Rich Hurt; one son: Wayne Hurt and his wife Marti of Big Meadow; one daughter: Diane White and her husband Jimmy of Glasgow; one brother: Kenneth Hurt of Hiseville; one sister: Margaret Hurt of Glasgow; three grandchildren: James Russell White, Jess White and Leah White; two step-grandchildren: Matthew Hurt and Amie Hurt; six step-great-grandchildren: Miranda Hurt, Tristan Hurt, Jarred Hurt, Riley Hurt, Chandler Hutten and Maggie Hutten.
Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:30 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Anyone wishing to do so may sign an online guest register at www.hatchersaddler.com.
