Janet Gayle Taylor, age 63 of Glasgow, Ky., passed away Friday, November 15, 2024 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital peacefully with her family by her side. She is the daughter of the late Willett Payne and Vivian Lee Armes.
Janet was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved to garden, being outdoors, and taking care of her roses. She enjoyed watching U.K. basketball also.
Janet is surivied by her husband: of 16 years Luke Taylor, daughters: Delicie Wheat (David) and Jessica Portman (Billy); sons: Rickey Taylor (Amanda) and Michael Portman (Anna). Sisters: Jean Hook and Joann Jones. 6 grandchildern: Brandon, Seth, Gavin, Jolynn, Leland, and Morgan.
She is preceded by a sister Jewell Perkins.
To honor Mrs. Taylor’s wishes cremation was chosen and no services at this time. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is honored to assist the Taylor family with arrangements.
