Joe Bud Coats, 59, Glasgow, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024, suddenly at T.J. Samson Hospital. He was the son of the late James Della Coates and Anna Kettles Coats. He was a construction worker by trade.
He is survived by his significant other Gail Baker; two daughters: Mary Coates (Chucky Green), Donnie Muse (Gary); two step-sons Doug Baker (Rebecca), and Michael Ray Baker (Candace); four grandchildren: Kevin Wright, Victoria Fancher, Kinsley Green, and Hope Muse; five step-grandchildren: Miyah Baker, Timmy Baker, Dixon Baker, Bentley Baker and Braelin Baker; one brother: James Coates; three sisters: Bonnie Carver (Roger), Della Carver (Jim), and Crystal Cox (Steven) and several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers: Randy Vaughn, Robert Coates, and Bobby Vaughn: one sister Connie Wooten.
Joe’s wishes were to be cremated. There will be no services at this time. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting family with arrangements.
