John William Woodward, 78, formerly of Glasgow, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024 at the Deaconess Hospital in Madisonville. He was the son of the late James A. Woodward and Ruby T. Ford Woodward.
Survivors include two sisters: Sadie Capps of Bowling Green and Mary C. Woodward of Lexington; two brothers: Leslie “Bud” Woodward of Glasgow and Hardy B. Woodward of Lexington; 24 nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters: James A. Woodward, Jr., Andrew Ford Woodward, Virginia Pearl Woodward, Harriett White, Joann Campbell, and Rachel Smith.
Visitation will be from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. A private burial will be at Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.
