Lenora Sexton Hornback, 84, Glasgow, passed away Friday, December 8, 2023 at her residence. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Lawrence Clark and Gracie Emmitt Clark. She was a homemaker and a member of the Glasgow Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include three sons: Darrell Sexton (Wanda), James Sexton (Darlene), and Joseph Sexton; two daughters: Linda Poynter (Terry) and Priscilla Sexton (Ronnie); three step-sons: Karl Hornback, Keith Hornback (Debbie), and Kent Hornback (Allison); one brother Lowell B. Clark (Sarah); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands: James Melvin Sexton and Jimmie Hornback, Jr.; two daughters: Judy Sexton Martin and Jackie Laverne Sexton; a daughter-in-law Kara Saltsman Sexton; one step-grandson Kurt Hornback; four sisters: Mary Frances Boothe, Edna Mae Chapman, Margie Marie Clark, and Loretta Belle Clark; and one brother Albert Leslie Clark.
The family wishes to give special thanks to both Hospice and Hosparus along with her caregivers Elizabeth Dallas, Michelle Young, Crystal Shepherd, Micala Neal, and Meaghan Boss.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
