MaKayla was being homeschooled and was a sophomore in high school. MaKayla was an inspiration to everyone. She lit up any room she walked into, gave the biggest hugs and could make anyone smile. She was always her sisters biggest cheerleader, never failing to make them feel loved and wanted, as they did her. She was a cheerleader with Barren County along with her sister and cousin. She was a member of the special Olympics bowling team of Barren County and won 1st place at the state competition December 3rd, 2023. She loved traveling; she would say “do do” enjoying any lights especially at Christmas time. Her favorite animal was guinea pigs, especially enjoying Scooby Doo, at her nana’s. As she grew she got closer to the family dogs, Sadie Grace and Raven Faith, who she wouldn’t go anywhere without. Her legacy will continue on through her family.
