Marjorie Shipp

Marjorie Ragland Shipp, 80, Glasgow, died Thursday at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Magnolia, she was the daughter of the late Squire and Viva Nunn Ragland. She was a retired case worker with the Department of Social Services and a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Jennifer Lakin and her husband, Larry, of Louisville; two grandchildren, Patrick Lakin and Jeni-Rebecca Lakin, both of Louisville. Her husband, Weber Shipp, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the First Christian Church.
