Marvin Earl Page, 71, Lick Branch Road, Glasgow, died Tuesday at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital.  A native of Barren County, he was a son of the late Jennie Jewell Wells and Buford H. Page.  He had been a life-long farmer in Barren County and in 1982 he helped to develop the Barren County Farmers Market and then served on its Board of Directors.  He had  been the caretaker of the George Wells Cemetery for the past 35 years and was a member of the Beech Grove Missionary Baptist Church on 1297.

Survivors include his wife, Annie Mae; one son, Marvin Ray Page of Glasgow; two brothers, Maxey Page and his wife, Esther, and William Page and his wife, Roxie all of Hoopeston, IL.; four sisters, Maynard Byers and Mildred Owens of Hoopeston, Louise Boyles of Watseka, IL. And Mazale Pearson and her husband, Rex of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Harold Wayne Page and one brother, Milton H. Page.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the George Wells Cemetery.  Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
