Milzie Wilson Wood

Milzie Wilson Wood, 88, Lucas, died Tuesday, May 22, 2001, at the Scottsville Medical Center. The son of the late Willie C. and Allie Delzie Wheeler Wood, he was a retired farmer and a veteran of WW II.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Wood; two daughters, Mary Ruth Mabry of Lucas and Loretta Hazel of Bowling Green; four grandchildren, Lloyd Wilson Mabry, Scott Mabry, Christopher Hazel and Angela Hazel; one great-grandchild, Zachary Hazel; two sisters, Mary Akers of Glasgow and Jewell Mizzel of Illinois; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 6 sisters, Donie B., Marie, Lucille, Vera, Nellie and Zelma.
