Richard W. “Muchie” Neal, 61, Horse Cave, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. A native of Barren County, he was the son of Bobby Lee Neal and the late Margie Lee Glass Neal.
Muchie was a jack-of-all-trades. He could be called an electrician, a mechanic, a furniture hauler, a hobby farmer, or a number of other titles. He was usually available to do whatever his family or friends needed.
In addition to his father Bobby Lee Neal, he is survived by two daughters: Buffy Neal Tweedy (Everett) of Hardyville, and Cheyanne Neal of Cave City; four grandchildren: Chloe Neal Tweedy, Carly Tweedy, Callie Tweedy, and Cheslee Tweedy; his companion, Cindy Dmyterko; two brothers: Rickey Lee Neal and Bobby Joe Neal; three sisters: Peggy Wilson Brown (Richard), Shelia Conner (Bryan), and Crystal Hensley (Leland); his loyal canine friend Misty; along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Lighthouse Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
